This application must be completed by all attorneys currently on the CAPDS panel, who wish to remain on the same CAPDS panels. Failing to complete the retention application by January 12, 2024 will result in removal from the CAPDS panel. Those on a panel and seeking additional panels should complete the Status Change Application instead. Those not currently on a panel should complete the New Application.
The CAPDS retention process utilizes an online application hosted by Google. This is the only method to complete this process. If you have any problems using this form or viewing this website please contact us at help@capds.org.
If you close your browser during the application process all work will be lost.
This process will also confirm your CLE compliance for 2023. It is recommended that you download a 2023 calendar year CLE transcript from the State Bar before beginning. Directions are available here. Your transcript must be emailed to cle@capds.org for your retention application to be complete.
